The two companies began collaborating in November 2025. As part of the deal, Polymarket provided data for a dedicated prediction market section on Yahoo Finance. The feature provided market-based probabilities of economic, political, and financial developments alongside Yahoo Finance content. 

The Yahoo Finance prediction market section was taken out in April. The companies have now confirmed that the larger deal is also off, as reported by Bloomberg. 

Yahoo said Polymarket is still an advertising partner and suggested the two could collaborate on other projects in the future. Polymarket has not provided any public explanation for the end of the data partnership.

On Wednesday, a CFTC deputy general counsel posted an ad on LinkedIn for a senior position with the commission. It appears that the attorney is seeking assistance in crafting formal rules for event contracts, a set of regulations he described as the “most impactful” the commission has written “in decades”.

The Polymarket ad campaign debuted less than 48 hours before Wednesday’s NFL regular-season opener. The matchup is a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl as the Seattle Seahawks host the AFC Champion New England Patriots.

Last February in Santa Clara, the Seahawks held the Patriots scoreless through three quarters en route to a 29-13 win. That said, the defending champions are not the favourites to win the Lombardi Trophy this year. Pragmatic Play, a leading game content provider to the gaming industry, has confirmed a partnership with CDP Gaming Technologies to take multiple verticals live with the leading South African brand, Yesplay.

The supplier has entered into a partnership distribution agreement with CDP Gaming Technologies (Holders of Manufacturers License in South Africa), a B2B partnership that will allow CDP to resell Pragmatic Play products in South Africa. The supplier will make its market debut by initially providing its Live Casino offering throughout the nation, with Slots and Virtual Sports to be provided in the near future.
